The Hand
The Pan tool is a fast and efficient way to move around your drawing. Works the same way as in PowerCADD.
It has 2 modes of operation, behaving differently in 2D and 3D views.
In 2D Views ...
To pan around your drawing:
- Select the Pan tool from the Tool palette.
- Move the cursor to the drawing area.
- Drag the hand to pan the drawing area.
Works on the fly, does not interrupt drawing operations.
Shortcut : Space Bar
In 3D views ...
In 3D the Hand becomes the rotation tool and also works with other settings such as Target position. See 3D Navigation.
In 3D View select the Hand Tool to rotate the model.
