Linear Duplicate and Move

Duplicate Linear, as the name suggests, duplicates an object without any rotate. Move is the same process but without a duplication.

Steps for Linear Duplicate and Move.

  1. Click on the Linear Duplicate Tool.
  2. Select the items to transpose in 3D view. This tool only works with 3D objects.
  3. Click (or snap to an end point) to mark the first point of the object(s) to set the origin of the transpose. This can be anywhere, but a sensible point of departure is a corner or center. You can also free select with no snap.
  4. The origin for dupilcate or move is now set for the selected object(s).
  5. The 2rd click sets the direction, distance and new origin to copy/move to.
  6. This clone is then active until the tool is deactivated. You can clone as many times as needed.
