Export DXF

Export DXF will export a 3D file in the DXF format. This is the most common and read by almost every other application in the world.

Things to know...

Only visible layers are exported. Useful for merging files.

DXF does not support materials. As a result we export the file with materials mapped to Layers. This means materials are preserved via the layer system. Most applications will either automatically or by choice import by layers.
